SARAH CLEO CLOYD Tupelo - Sarah Cleo Cloyd, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1929 to the late Marlin Eldridge and Gracie Helms Parmer. She spent many years working at Coca Cola before leaving to become a homemaker. She attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. Her hobbies included caring for children in her home, gardening, sewing, cooking and enjoyed fellowship with family and friends. Cleo had many things that made her special and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and her love for her Lord. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the Jefferson Street Chapel with a graveside to follow at Lee Memorial Park. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include from Tupelo, one son, Robert Elmo Cloyd, Jr.; two grandchildren, Sara Leigh Hickman (Brian) and Teresa Ann Crone (Neil); one son-in-law, George Gentry; one brother, Clyde Parmer (Dot); five great-grandchildren, Abigail Grace Hickman, Isabella Mae Hickman, Sarah Catherine Roper, Savannah Caitlyn Roper and Daniel Lucas Crone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elmo "Bobby" Cloyd, Sr. in 2007; one daughter, Sarah Catherine Gentry in 1995; brother, James Martin Parmer; sister, Bessie Vernell Gaines.
