Tupelo - Sandra Forsythe Roberson, 63, died Thursday, April 8, 2010, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born March 9, 1947, to Buford and Bea Forsythe. A longtime resident of Tupelo, most of her life was spent as a homemaker. She married Bill Roberson February 11, 1992. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, and reading. Before her health failed she loved to travel. She loved animals, especially her little dog, Lady and her siamese cat Oliver.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Ridge Christian Church with Bro. Dale Carr, Bill Roberson and Bro. Terry Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Bill Roberson of Tupelo; her parents Buford and Bea Forsythe of Corinth; one son, Jason Jaggers (Christy) of Mooreville; one daughter, Tana Mann (Brad) of Eggville; one brother, Randy Forsythe (Margie) of Iuka; two step-sons, Nicholas Roberson of Marion, Ark. and Landon Roberson (Jennifer) of Tupelo; five grandchildren, Courtney Mann, Jordan Mann, Emily Roberson, Mathew Roberson, and Scout Roberson.
Pallbearers will be Bob Knight, Tom Robinson, Kevin Doler, Terry Swindol, Dr. Ricky Parker, Guy H. Altom, Don Roberts.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
