Dorsey - SANDRA F. MORGAN, 62, died Friday, September 21, 2007, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a Short illness. An Okolona native, she was born February 7, 1945 to the late Gilbert Matthew and Vance Marleen Green Daniel. She was a homemaker and had also worked over eight years in the Okolona High School Cafeteria.. She was an accomplished piano player, enjoyed traveling and was known for her love of and time spent with her grandchildren. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Services will be 3 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2007 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Roy McHenry officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Luther Morgan of the Dorsey Community; one daughter, Deborah Heair of Dorsey; two sons, Chris Morgan (Samantha) of Okolona, and Matthew Morgan (Libby) of Tupelo; one brother, Gilbert Wayne Daniel and his wife, Doris, of New Albany; six grandchildren, Krysta, Heather, and Heath Heair, and Douglas, Jonathan and Kayla Morgan; several nieces and nephews..
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Willa Dean Teague.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Heair, Doug Johnson, Sanford Johnson, and Kenneth Johnson.
Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from noon until service time on Monday.
