Decatur, Ga. - Sandra Lee Manley, 68, died Sunday, October 4, 2009, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of the Atlanta, Georgia area, she was born July 4, 1941. Her parents were Robert Lee and Gertrude Jones Rainwater. She was married to Charles L. Cook who died, August 15, 1976, and later married William A. Manley who preceded her in death February 29, 1996. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Graveside Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain, Georgia. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one son, Kenny Cook (Kathy) of Tupelo; one sister, Martha Jean Stanley (Joe) of Decatur, Ga.; two step-children, Marshall Cook of Atlanta, Ga. and Sheila Sykes of Austell, Ga.; and two grandchidlren, Haley and Noah Cook of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Muriel Wallace.
