Saltillo- Samantha Daniel Sheffield, 37, died suddenly Friday, September 21, 2018. She was born in Tupelo, February 27, 1981. Samantha loved being with her family and going on trips with her kids. She also enjoyed reading, listening to music and singing. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mantachie. She loved everyone and everyone loved her and was known for having the biggest heart.
Survivors include her mother, Joyce Escobedo; step-father, Joel Escobedo; daughters, Zoey Keelin McMillen of Guntown, Scarlett Bexleigh Sheffield of Mooreville and Abella Catesby Sheffield and her father, Alan Sheffield of Mantachie; and one brother, Isaac Escobedo of Saltillo.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John Humphrey, III.
Services honoring her life will be 12 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Ricky Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018 at W.E. Pegues, Saltillo.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Hutcheson, Jason Hutcheson, Justin Humphrey, Chris Archer and Tim Farrar.
Services will be live streamed and recorded for those who may not be able to attend at www.peguesfuneralhome.com .
