In Loving Memory
Sally Garrant, age 85, who was reunited with her husband on Friday, December 27, 2024, surrounded by family at Charleston Place in Fulton, Mississippi. She was born August 17, 1939, in Plattsburgh, New York to Arthur H. Stone and Ruth (Dubuque) Stone. She proudly worked as the supervisor for housekeeping at Meadowbrook in Plattsburgh for over 20 years. Her greatest joys were spending time with family, crocheting and knitting, and sharing her love of coloring.
She is remembered by her daughters, Sue Stone (Rick), and Judy Garrant; granddaughters, Wendy Baggett, Tracy Moody, Missy (Brad) Warner, and Amanda Sorrell; and her great-grandchildren, Nathen, Autumn, Alex, Jaden, Harlee, Drew, and Beck. She will also be remembered by her siblings, Larry Stone (June), Arthur "Art" Stone (Daisy), Norean Durocher, Lynn St Pierre; sisters-in-law, Charlene Lapham, Molly Stone; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Tiny.
She is reunited with her parents, her husband of 67 years, Gilbert Garrant, siblings, Richard "Ricky" Stone, Arnold Stone, Dennis "Jack" Stone, and Nancy Mitchell (Stone).
The family will honor her memory with a celebration of life in Plattsburgh, New York at a later date.
