Saltillo - Sadie Stiff, 73, died Monday, June 1, 2009, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, she was born September 7, 1935. She was a member of Eggville Free Will Baptist Church and loved her family and her grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Dr. Gerald Gann officiating.
Survivors include three sons, Jeffery Winkler of the Springhill Community, Craig Winkler (Patricia) of Glenville, Penn., and Albert Winkler (Pam) of Springhill; one daughter, Velvet Winkler of Springhill; three sisters, Madeline Carter, May Caldwell, and Ruth Volz, all of Baltimore, MD; and five grandchldren, Susanna, Christina, Aaron, Matthew and Stephen Winkler.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Saltillo funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Local Chapter of the Kidney Foundation, 1031 S. Madison Street, Tupelo MS 38804
