Tupelo - Ruth Jean Jolliffe, 80, died Monday, October 5, 2009, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born December 25, 1928, in Detoit, Mich. to Jack and Ada Maude Jagoe Wilson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed art work and writing poems. She was the widow of Eugene Waggoner and Alfred Jolliffe. She was a member of Word of Life Church.
A Memorial Services will be held 3 p.m. Friday at Word of Life Church. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters, Christie McCloud of Tupelo, Faith Waggoner of Detroit, Mich., Norma Gardenhire of Oklahoma; two sons, John Waggoner (Ann) and John Waggoner (Zoraida), all of Tupelo; 27 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; and two daughters, Ada Waggoner and Elsie Morgan.
There will be no public visitation.
