Auburn Community- Roy "Red" Morgan, Jr., 74, died Sunday, November 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 2, 1944 to Roy Morgan, Sr. and Ellosie Morgan. Early in life, he worked as a farmer with his father. Later, he owned and operated an air conditioning company. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing and listening to gospel music. He loved his family and his dog, Clyde.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Teresia Morgan of Auburn; daughter, Diava Leslie (Jeff) of Mooreville; four grandchildren, Molly Williams, Marla Williams, Caitlyn Smith and Sam Leslie; two great-grandchildren; two sister, Mary Helen Rayburn (Bill) of Auburn and Cathy Smith (Curt) of Auburn; and one brother, Phil Morgan (Beverly) of Pratts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Keith Williams.
Services honoring his life will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Bro. Devon Dutka officiating. Burial will be in Priceville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Leslie, Ronnie Barnes, Curt Smith, Kenny Hanson and nephews, John and Austin.
