NEAL MALLETTE
Saltillo - Roy Neal Mallette, 86, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at his residence in the Hebron Community after a brief illness. A Saltillo native, he was born December 5, 1919. He was a lifelong Lee County resident and a retired farmer.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. David Hendrix officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Lottie Mallette of the Hebron Community;two sons, Thomas Mallette and wife, Sue, of the Unity Community, David Ray Mallette of Hebron Community; two sisters, Velma Rogers of Tupelo and Margie Farley of Tupelo; four grandchildren, Sabrina Mann, Quade Mann, Joshua Mallette, and Justin Mallette; two great-grandchildren, Dalton Sullivan and Charlie Beth Cox; special friend, Mrs. Margaret Warren of the Hebron Community.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Wages; two brothers, Clyde and William Mallette; and one nephew, Wesley McElwain.
Pallbearers will be Earl Price, Craig Sanders, Dee Mallette, Shane Smith, Prentiss Petigo, and Jimmy Pitigo.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jammie Hinds and Michael Hinds.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at the Saltillo Chapel of the W.E. Pegues.
