ROY KINCADE Okolona - Roy H. Kincade, 67, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born August 28, 1946 to Prentice and Ruby Lackey Kincade. He was a high school graduate and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a truck driver and worked for several local companies including Malone & Hyde for fifteen years. He also worked with M & W Windows until they closed. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baking and gospel music. He lived a good life with two good kids and a lot of good friends. He accepted the Lord on October 17, 1967 at Chesterville Baptist Church with Rev. A. B. Bailey, Pastor. He tried to live a Christian life and be a good father to his children and grandchildren. His only regret was that he didn't live closer to the Lord until his final days. He was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. David Langerfeld and Rev. David Smith officiating. A graveside service will follow at Furrs Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include two children, Jamie Kincade and his children, Kaitlyn, Keleigh and Case of the Auburn Community and Veronica Patterson and her children, John Gavin, Ethan, Reid and Georgia of Plantersville; two brothers, Merle Kincade (Phyllis) and Earl Kincade (Martha Ann); one sister, Margie Whitt; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Wayne Kincade and sister, Laverne Hunt. Pallbearers will be Sammy Washington, Tony Bethune, J. R. Kilgore, Danny Nation, Craig Kincade and Mitch Minniece. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
