ROSE JENNINGS Potts Camp - Geneva Rose Jennings, 74, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. A Potts Camp native, she was born February 16, 1940, to Muldrew and Eunice Wilson. She retired from Daybrite Lighting after 26 years of service. She attended Bethleham Pentecostal Church in Potts Camp. She loved gardening, canning vegetables, and cooking and especially loved her time with her family. Visitation will be 1 - 4:30 p.m., July 20, 2014, at W. E. Pegues, 535 W. Jefferson Street, Tupelo, MS, 38804. Services will be 4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors with Bro. Cecil Locke officiating. Pallbearers will be Lamar Westmoreland, Zachary Hawkes, Clay Woodson, Dawson Hawkes, Joe Coptane, Damian Tutor and Justin Swinford. Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery in Pontotoc. Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Rose Hawkes (Brad) of Guntown; four sons, Eugene Swinford and fiancé, Beverly Pipkin of Potts Camp, David Wayne Swinford of Potts Camp, William Coptane (Sandra) of Nettleton and Daniel Muldrew Jennings (Olivia) of Saltillo; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ethel Harris (Howard) of Potts Camp, Carol Helton (James Jackson) of Whiteville, TN and Betty Sue Mathis (Jerry) of Pontotoc and Martha Helton (Billy) of Middleton, TN. She was preceded in death by her father, Muldrew Wilson and mother, Eunice Bolden.
