RONNIE HUGHES Belden - Ronnie Hughes, 59, died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at The North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born January 19, 1953, to Roy Lee and Hilda Brown Hughes. He was a recording engineer and had been a D.J. for local radio stations. Playing the guitar and singing was his favorite thing to do. Also, he was a computer and electronics wiz. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Ray Rooney and Rev. Danny Wilburn officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery North of Belden. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Simmons Hughes of Belden; one daughter, Angela Lee Palmer (Chris) of Saltillo; one sister, Wanda Joseph (Charles) of Van Vleet; one brother Wayne Hughes (Shirley) of Belden. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Bobby Betts, James Williams, Cal Smith, Mitchell Hughes, Mark Hughes and Larry Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be J. C. Burks and Johnny Simmons. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorials in honor of Mr. Hughes may be sent to W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors, P.O.
