Saltillo - Ronald Dee ?Ronnie? Grissom, 50, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at his residence after a sudden illness. A Kenosha, Wisconsin native, he was born November 17, 1962, to Oliver Wendell and Margaret Putt Grissom. He was an employee for Burger King Inc. of Tupelo for the last twelve years, and formerly worked for T.M. Restaurant and The Front Porch. He was a very avid sports fan, and a member of Faith Baptist Church of Saltillo.



Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at The Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors with Rev. Bob McCustion officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.



Survivors include his parents Oliver Wendell and Margaret Putt Grissom of Saltillo.



He was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald Ray Grissom, Charles Lyndel Grissom, David Allen Grissom, Bruce Wayne Grissom and his grandparents.



Pallbearers will be Wayne Baker, David Baker, Terry Watson, Wes Spradling, Joel Baker and Chad Nichols.



Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at the funeral home.
