Ron Cook, a beloved friend, father and grandfather, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born in Iowa on September 11, 1951. Ron dedicated himself to a fulfilling career as a broadcast journalist for American Family Radio, where he touched the lives of many through his work.
Ron had two great loves in his life: his loyal four-legged companion, Murphy, and his cherished granddaughter, Anni. His eyes lit up whenever he spoke of them.
In the hearts of those who knew him best, Ron will be remembered for his booming voice and his giving spirit.
He is survived by his son, Joe Cook, and daughter-in-law Lynnann of Coal Valley, Iowa. He also leaves behind his beloved granddaughter, Anni, who brought immense joy to his life.
Ron Cook's legacy will live on through the memories shared with family and friends. May he rest in peace knowing that he was deeply loved and that his spirit will continue to shine bright in the lives of those he held dear.
