Rodney J. Kirk

Saltillo - Rodney J. "Papa" Kirk, 61, died on August 11, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born August 8, 1954 in South Dakota. A long time resident of Saltillo, he worked for the city of Saltillo for 20 years. Rodney loved fishing, watching Mississippi State football games and spending time with his friends and family. Survived by his wife, Reva Dyson; one daughter, Kelly Dickens (Dustin Spradling) of Saltillo; one son, Chad Dickens (Amy) of Mooreville; five grandchildren, Tyler Dickens, Lexie Dickens, Delilah Burcham, Thomas Burcham and Caylyn Burcham all of Saltillo; one great grandchild, Lilyanna Howard. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues. Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the funeral home.
