Bob Leech
TUPELO - Robert Wayne "Bob" Leech Sr., 56, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at the Sanctuary Hospice House after a brief illness. The son of the late Earnest Wayne Leach and Vernelle Boren Leech, he was a lifelong resident of Tupelo. He worked in marketing and research for the American Family Association (A.F.A.) in Tupelo. He was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. He loved boating.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Harrisburg Baptist Church with Dr. Bryant Barnes and the Rev. David Langerfeld officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Catherine Leech Kahlstorf and Brannon, of Tupelo; one son, Robert Wayne Leech Jr. and Angela, of Columbus; a special friend, Susan Anderson McMahan of Tupelo; and two grandchildren, Colin Leech of Columbus and Anna Grant Kahlstorf of Tupelo.
Pallbearers will be Mike Maynard, Wilson Long, Byron Fellows, Joe Vann, Chuck Rhodes, Jim Hotten and Jimmy Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Don Wildmon, the Rev. Buddy Smith, Larry Durham, Mike Ferris, Dr. Bert Duncan, Rob Gardner, Neal Clement and Charles Little.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Tuesday at Harrisburg Baptist Church.
