Robert D. Reese
MOOREVILLE - Robert Daniel Reese, 68, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at his residence in Mooreville after a sudden illness. He was born in Baldwyn to Jimmy Reese and Beatrice Roden Milstead. He was a Baptist and retired from the Lee County School System
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with the Rev. Roger Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Walton Cemetery in Itawamba County.
Survivors include one daughter, Kay and Ken Clayton of Mooreville; four sons, Keith and Christi Reese and Chance Reese, all of Fulton, Jimmy and Donna Reese of Booneville and Terry and Angie Reese of Baldwyn; one sister, Norene Sander of Saltillo; two brothers, Raymond Reese and James Reese, both of Booneville; 10 grandchildren, Dustin Reese, Jeni Short and Nicki Reese, all of Fulton, Kody Clayton and Karley Clayton, both of Mooreville, Josh Reese of Tupelo, Kayla Reese and Kristen Reese, both of Baldwyn, Colt Reese of Booneville and Brittney Reese of Florence; one great-grandchild, Fischer Reese.
He was preceded in death by one son, Kerry Reese; one brother, William Reese; and his parents.
Pallbearers will be Jim Hicks, James Arthur Sheffield, Steve Bishop, Jimmy "Jimbo" Cheeks, Dustin Reese, Josh Reese and Kody Clayton. Honorary pallbearers will be Marvin Reese and Marcis Reese.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
