Robert Price

Tupelo Robert Lee Bob Price, 78, entered into rest February 13, 2011, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born January 9, 1933 in Hackleburg, Alabama to Horace Holden and Janie Lolley Price. He was reared in Hackleburg, Alabama and moved to Adrian, Michigan in 1950. He was employed with Tecumseh Products Company in Tecumseh, Michigan and was transferred in 1976 to their facility in Verona. He retired in 1995 with 40 years of service with the company. He truly loved all his co-workers. He was an avid golfer and outdoorsman. He really enjoyed his Thursday afternoon golf tournaments with his close friend, Jim Counts, at the Bel-Air Golf Course. He also enjoyed fishing with his wife and family. He was always telling them if you catch them youre going to clean them. He always ended up cleaning all of the fish. We are so sad that he is no longer with us, and will remember and keep his memory alive in a positive way. His passing is the end of his doing, but not the end of his being.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Bert Harper officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include three sons, Ronald Joseph Price (Julie) of Mantachie, Rick Lee Price of Tupelo and Rodney Michael Price (Susie) of Bartlett, Tennessee; one daughter, Rhonda Kae Krutz (Duane) of Tupelo; five brothers, James Talmadge Price (Gretchen), Eugene Price (Bonnie), Joseph Claude Price (Nancy), Jerry Wayne Price (Carolyn) and Donald Dustin Price (Carol); three sisters, Evelene Price Scott (W. C.), Doris Price Baggett (J. D.), Lula Price Frederick (Royce); and a very special friend, Joyce Martin.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Roxy Ann Price; his parents; one brother, Charles Hughdon Price.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Rasberry, Matthew Price, Ryan Price, Danny Frederick, Joey Price and Mike Baggett.

Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the funeral home.
