BOB PARKER
Mooreville - Robert Borden ?Bob? Parker, Jr., 57, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born in Tupelo on May 2, 1955 to Robert Borden Parker, Sr. and Doris Nell Bouchillon Parker. He grew up in Plantersville and graduated from Shannon High School in 1973. A roofer he was employed in the construction business working for several companies and also as a self-employed contractor. He was a member of Plantersville Baptist Church. He was very artistic and loved to draw. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and especially his family.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Danny Balint officiating. Burial will be in Plantersville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-three years, Debbie Parker of Mooreville; two daughters, Christie Brooks (Andy) of Saltillo and Ashley Westmoreland (Jordan) of Pontotoc; six grandchildren, Grayson, Deacon and Ella Brooks, Hannah, Jaime and Natali Westmoreland; his brother, Steve Parker (Kim); his sister, Judy Kindt (Lerland) of Tupelo; several aunts and uncles; nieces, Stephanie, Amy, Katie and Melissa and nephews, David, Matthew, and Case; his mother, Doris Parker of Plantersville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Borden Parker, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Jamey Bouchillon, David Parker, Thomas Craft, Jordan and Jaime Westmoreland and Bill McMurry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Case Parker, nephew, Joey Bouchillon and David Westmoreland.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the funeral home.
