ROBERT BOB PANNELL
Tupelo - Robert Nelson Bob Pannell, 68, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A Tupelo native, he was born November 21, 1939 to the late R.L. and Rachael Peck Pannell. He was a graduate of The University of Mississippi and served in the United States Coast Guard. He was retired as a supervisor for General Motors. He enjoyed gardening, restoring old cars and crossword puzzles.
A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Steve Hurt officiating.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Carol Pannell of Tupelo; his daughter, Kimberly Pannell-Reynolds of California; two sons, Kieth Pannell of Reno, Nev. and Mark Pannell of Birmingham, Ala.; two sisters, Lana Lyons of Gold Beach, Oregan and Sandra Lambert of Madison; two brothers, Robert Pannell and David Pannell, both of Tupelo; a grandson, Blake Pannell-Reynolds, of California; and a niece, Jessica Pannell of Tupelo.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
