MARION, Ill. - Robert Alvin Lusk, 84, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at his home in Marion, Ill., after a sudden illness. He was a native of Birmingham, Ala., and a longtime resident of Marion, Ill. He was a retired schoolteacher in the Stillville, Ill., public school system. He was a graduate of Memphis State University and received his master's degree from Missouri State University. He was a member of Saltillo Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be at 1p.m. Wednesday at the Saltillo Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Green officiating. Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one sister, Rebecca Cody of Huntsville, Ala.; two nieces, Vicky Milochick of Huntsville and Lynne Cullison of Madison, Ala.; two great-nieces, Cody Cullison and Courtney Cullison of Madison, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Alvin Lusk and Mattie Ophelia Carlisle Lusk of Tupelo; one brother, Thomas "Tom" McNeil; and a cousin, Mary McNeil.
