Robert Earl Ellison

BOB ELLISON Tupelo - Robert Earl "Bob" Ellison, 62, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at his residence in Belden. A Tupelo native, he was born March 10, 1950 to James Lewis and Doris Faye Lackey Ellison. Bob was a former firefighter from Memphis, Tennesee whom also served as a firefighter at the Tupelo airport for several years. He also served as a member of the security staff at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He had lived in the Belden area for the past 20 years and was a member of Belden Baptist Church. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at Belden Cemetery with L. D. Lackey officiating. Burial will be in Belden Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his sister Venica Lea Harmon (Edward) of Destin, Florida, a niece, Lisa S. Burson (Richard) of Panama City, Florida and a nephew Jonathan D. Harmon (Genean) of Las Vegas, NV . He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the funeral home.
