Robert (Dub) Gafford

Greenwell Springs, La.--A resident of Greenwell Springs, La. and a native of New Albany, Miss., Robert W. Dub Gafford died at 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009. He was 88 and a U.S. Army veteran.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Foley officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Gafford; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Dianne, Tommy and Sheila, and Todd and Ina; sisters and brother-in-law, Ulemah Yarbrough and Doris and Jack Evans; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Joy; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, I.B. Gafford.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. at the church.
