Robert Cowsert

TUPELO - Robert L. "Bob" Cowsert, 57, died Friday, March 28, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. A Tupelo native, he was born October 4, 1950 to Wayne and Mary Eliza Gregg Cowsert. For over eight years, he was a P.P.O. officer at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in New Albany. He attended the Universtiy of Southern Mississippi and loved to play golf. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Tupelo Memorial Park with Sammy Lansdell officiating. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include a long-time close friend, Jackie Cowsert of Tupelo; one son, Robert K. Cowsert (Stacy), of Millary, Ala; one daughter, Mary M. Livingston (John), of Pensacola , Fla.; one brother, Gregg Cowsert (Rosemary), of Tupelo.

He was preceded in death by by his parents and grandparents.

Pallbearers will be Gregg Cowsert, Mitch Eubank, Mark Eubank, and Bill Winborn.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
