Tupelo - Robert Allen "Bob" Breedlove Sr., 73, died Saturday, August 21, 2010, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Tupelo September 22, 1936 to Carlton Eugene (C.E.) and Lillie Myrtle Heath Breedlove. He was a retired office machinery technician and served as a member of the U.S. Army reserve. He was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and studying history.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Forrest Sheffield officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 53 years, Wanda Robinson Breedlove of Tupelo; one son, Robert A. Bobby Breedlove Jr. and wife, Jan, of Monore, La.; one brother, Eugene C. Breedlove and wife, Jeannie, of Little Rock, Ark.; two granddaughters, Lauren and Allie Breedlove of Monore, La.; one niece, Martha Melton and husband, Terry, of Tupelo; and one nephew, Jack Breedlove and wife, Jo Ellen, of Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Carlton Breedlove.
Pallbearers will be Ed Harrell, Andy Bishop, Max Duke, Bobby Gene Robinson, D.W. Robinson and Wendell Robinson.
Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
