Robert L. "Bob" Bolen

ROBERT L. BOLEN Spring, Texas - Robert L. "Bob" Bolen, 82, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015, at Gamble Hospice in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was born July 19, 1933, in Lacey Springs, Alabama to Will and Daisey Edwards Bolen. Bob grew up in Mooreville and lived a short time in Verona. He loved to fish and to grill for his family. Bob was Baptist by faith. He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Betty Jo Ballard Bolen of Spring, Texas; one daughter, Cindy Green (Danny) of Dodson, Louisiana; four sons, Danny Paul Bolen (Ledon) of Jasper, Texas, James Michael Bolen (Gay Lynn) of Spring, Texas, Robert K. Bolen (Patty) of Spring, Texas, and David Joe Bolen (Cassy) of Houston, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Paul Bolen (Peggy) of Meridian. Proceded in death by his parents; one brother and three sisters. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Boguefala Cemetery in Mooreville. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2015, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
