RHONDA WILSON

ShannonRhonda Wilson, 44, died Sunday, July 1, 2007, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born in Trenton, Michigan on June 19, 1963, and has been a long time resident of the Tupelo area. She worked as a cook at 45 Stop n Shop in Verona and, more recently, at the Jamison Inn. She was a loving mother, a best friend to her two daughters and her dog Snoopy, and was very close to her family and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Charles Cox officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.

Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Wilson and Alicia Danielle Wilson, both of Shannon; her mother, Gladys Killough and her husband, Wayne, of Shannon; her father, Dee Wilson of Thaxton; one sister, Janet Loyd of Pontotoc; two brothers, David Wilson of Thaxton and Steve Wilson of Pontotoc; one step-brother, Larry Killough of Saltillo; and her aunt and uncle, Edith and Charles Saganek of New Boston, Michigan, and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a step-brother, Michael Killough.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Wilson, Jonathan Loyd, Jeremy Carwile, Brad Foxworthy, Terry Dillard, and Ryan Dillard.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
