Mantachie- Rebecca Sue "Becky Patterson, 52, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born May 8, 1954 in Itawamba County to the late Rube and Era Williams Palmer. She worked for Super Sagless and Reeds Manufacturing for many years. She was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Baptist Church in Marietta. One of her greatest loves was her grandchildren. She enjoyed riding horses and spending time with family and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Toby Mears and Rev. Dewayne Wells officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband of ten years, Danny Patterson of Mantachie; two daughters, Tammy Clark and husband, Randy, of Baldwyn and Tonya Hampton and husband, Jody, of Saltillo; a step-son, Anthony Patterson and wife, Amy, of Tupelo; four grandchildren, Chase Shelby, Cooper Maddox, Austin and Jacob Clark and Alexander Patterson; her brothers and sisters, Mary Gene Brolin and husband, Ernie, Easel Palmer, Elanor Lindley and husband, Bill, Jimmy D. Palmer and wife, Brenda, Ruby Faye Pettigo, Billy Wayne Palmer, Peggy Pedigo and husband, Charles, Howard Palmer, Linda Kemp and husband, Billy, Charles Palmer and wife, Gail, Wonda Clayton and husband, James, Kay Colburn, Robert Palmer, and Teresa Sharer and husband, Mike; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Patterson and wife, Carol, and Larry Patterson and wife, Ruby; 18 nephews; 11 nieces and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rube & Era Palmer and two brothers, Sammy Palmer & Johnny Edwin Palmer.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Thompson, Tim Kemp, Mike Johnson, Jimmy Pettigo, Terry Palmer and Danny Palmer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chase Shelby, Cooper Maddox, Alexander Patterson, Jacob Clark, Austin Clark, and Paxdon Cox.
