Tupelo - Reba Nash Shelton died Thursday, September 18, 2008, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. She was the daughter of Paul R. and Sudie Mae Durrett Nash. She was a buyer for McGaughy's Department Store and later worked for Pricilla's Bridal Suite. She was the widow of John William Shelton who preceded her in death December 10, 1996. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the order of the Eastern Star, and a charter member of the Altrusa Club
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Ron Richardson and Dr. Tom Groome officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Shelton Stubblefield and husband, Ron, of Cecil, Ark; her grandson, John Farrell and wife, Ginger of Tallahasee, Fla.; two great-grandsons, Nathan Douglas Farrell and Jeremy Shelton Farrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John William Shelton; her sister, Eunice McNeece; and two infant children.
Pallbearers will be Norman Bush, Eugene Sullivan, Ralph Pounds, Johnny Kelly, Jeremy Kelly, and Richard Hasting.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the funeral home.
