Reba Doris " Dot " Stembridge

Tupelo - Reba Doris Dot Stembridge, 69, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Tupelo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. A Saltillo native, she was born April 6, 1941 to Henry Brice and Nancy Paralee Crump Martin. In 1959, she graduated from Sherman High School and then attended Itawamba Community
College. She loved sewing and time spent with her family. She was a member of Chesterville Calvary Baptist Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Wes Stephens and Rev. Rowland Dempsey officiating. Burial will be in McNeil Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 51 years, Milford Stembridge of Tupelo; one daughter, Margaret Wilburn (Phil) of Ozark Community; three grandchildren, Dallas Wilburn of Starkville, Truman Wilburn (Hannah) of Ozark Community, and Austin Wilburn of the home; one great-granddaughter, Scarlet Faith Wilburn; her special family Joyce Siddall (Charles) of Tupelo; and her two special grandsons, Scott and Brian Siddall of Tupelo; a special friend, Bobbie Hammock of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Stephanie Ann Stembridge.
Pallbearers will be Truman Wilburn, Austin Wilburn, Charles Siddall, Jamie Siddall, Scott Siddall, and Gerry Scruggs.
Brian Siddall will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the funeral home.
