Macedonia Community - RANDY J. CLAYTON, 51, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at his residence after a sudden illness. A Memphis native, he was born October 24, 1956 to Bobby J. Clayton and the late Billy Joyce Clayton. He had been a resident of the Macedonia community for 35 years. He worked in maintenance for Sara Lee Foods for seventeen years. He was an avid Nascar and NFL fan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad. He was a Baptist. He will be missed by all.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Elder Rusty Wise and Elder Calvin Warren officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Union County.

Survivors include his wife, Bridgette Clayton; his father, Bobby Jewel Clayton (Delta); two sisters, Cathy Powers (Frankie) and Vonda Gillian; his daughter, Salena Morgan (Gary); and three grandchildren, Randy, Riley, and Ruthie; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Billy Joyce Clayton.

Pallbearers will be Pat Coker, Bud Rakestraw, Roger Davis, Paul Coker, Wayne Howell, and Terry Mallard.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
