Saltillo—Randy Attaway, 63, died on his birthday, December 28, 2022 at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in the Lberty Community of Itawamba County to Herbert Reed Attaway and Treauvor Nell Berryman Attaway. Earlier in his life, he enjoyed riding his four wheeler, fishing, and skiing. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Surviors include his mother, Nell Wyse; one son, Dakota Attaway; a step-son, Dusty Harlow; brother, Bill Allen (Susan); sister, Peggy Marion (Bob); step-brother, Tim Tucker (Jamie); two step-sisters, Janice Whitten (Rob) and Peggy Lollar (Linden); nieces, Misty Attaway, Megan Allen, and Lindsey Allen.
He was preceded in death by his father, Reed Attaway and a brother, Jimmy Attaway.
The family will celebrate Randy’s life with a time of visitation from 3 until 5 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Pegues, Saltillo.
