RANDALL CHUNN

Tupelo - Randall Ellis Chunn, 73, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at The Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. A Ripley native, he was born March 24, 1932 to the late Lonnie Ellis and Lena Ophelia Smith Chunn. He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force for 11 years He was a retired employee of T.R.W. where he had worked as a service technician for over 26 years. He was a member of West Jackson Street Baptist Church and loved the time he spent with his grandkids.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at West Jackson Street Baptist Church with Rev. Bert Harper and Rev. Don Trammell officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Marlene W. Chunn of Tupelo; one daughter, Karen Chunn Dulaney of Tupelo; two sons, Steven Ellis Chunn and wife, Yonea, of Blue Springs, and Ronald James Chunn and wife, Nora, of Houston, Tex.; three sisters, Ruth Cutherth and husband, Jim of Pickwick, Tenn, Margie Lockhart of Memphis, and Wynete Simmons of Durmond, Tenn; two brothers, Charles Chunn and wife, Nancy, of Millington, Tenn., and Boyce Chunn and wife, Pam, of Byhalia; 11 grandhcildren, Matthew, Mary, Michael, Margaret, Martha, Mark, Macain, Molly, Mitchell, and Connor Chunn, and Kayla Dulaney.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ailene Cutherth.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Moody, Derril Rea, Owen Martin, Dave Caldwell, Marvin Hoard, and Buster Priddy.

Honorary pallbearers will be the 1953 Graduating Class of Walnut High School

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
