RACHEL T. WATTS
Tupelo - Rachel Ann Tucker Watts, 69, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at her residence. She was born August 8, 1943 in Jackson to Willie B.and Ruby Estelle Bunch Tucker. She graduated from Provine High School in Jackson and then attended cosmotology school. She worked as a stylist for twenty-two years and later worked for Internal Medicine Associates for over seventeen years before retiring this year. She was a member of Belden Baptist Church. She loved mystery, her kids, grandkids and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her love of Maxine.
Services were, Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Belden Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Charlie Watts of Tupelo; three children, Greg Watts of Tupelo, Michele Mask (Jeff) of Shannon and Brandi Gray (Blaine) of St.Louis, Missouri; one brother, Willie James Tucker of Plano, Texas; cousins, Evelyn and Lois, both of Mustang, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her Uncle John and Aunt Vi who helped raise her.
Pallbearers were Greg Watts, Eddie Evans, Jeff Mask, Stanley Mitchell, Dillon Goble and Blaine Gray.
