Saltillo – Quay Allen Stults, 73, entered his Heavenly Home on Monday, May 27, 2019, at the Hospice Unit of North Mississippi Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Saltillo. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a faithful member of Priceville Baptist Church for 46 years and served as a Deacon for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Peggy Phillips Stults; two sons, Jason (Tammy) of Saltillo and Kevin (Kaye) of Florida; five grandchildren, Jace, Jonah and Rhett Stults, all of Saltillo, Brittany Koundry, and Nikki Cheek, both of Florida; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Bernice Anglin Stults; brother, Roy Lee Stults; and sister, Betty Sue Alexander.
Services honoring his life will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Tim McMillan and Rev. John Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019, and 1:30 p.m. until service time Thursday, May 30, 2019, at W.E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Priceville Baptist Church.
