PJ McKnatt

Tupelo—Peggy Jean “PJ” McKnatt passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was 72 years old. She was born in California on June 28, 1958, the daughter of John C. McKnatt and Miranda McKnatt. Before she became disabled, PJ worked in housekeeping for several hotels. A true people person, PJ loved to help others and enjoyed having conversations with anyone she met. She loved animals of any kind.
PJ leaves behind her two brothers, Charles and John McKnatt of Tupelo; a step-sister, Beverly Williams; a nephew, Ashjon McKnatt and his wife, Cora; and a great-nephew, Bentley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a half-brother, Jeff McKnatt; her step-mother, Eula Mae McKnatt; and a step brother, Bobby Bostick.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Pegues Funeral Directors was entrusted with the arrangements.
