Phyllis Tackett
SKYLINE - Phyllis Jean "Sissy" Tackett, 43, died suddenly Nov. 9, 2006, at her home. A native of Lee County, she was born Dec. 24, 1962, to Patricia Ann Bridges and the late Billy Ray Tackett. She was a Baptist. She worked as a seamstress in the furniture manufacturing industry for several years.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with the Rev. Ronnie Cottom and Bro. Billy Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the Edington Cemetery in Pontotoc County.
Survivors include her mother, Pat Bridges (Jim "Pop") of Skyline; one son, Mark Edington, and his father, Gary Edington, of Okolona; three sisters, Cindy Arnold (Danny) of Skyline, Hope Burleson of Tupelo and Sabrina Dulaney (Barry) of Alabama; two brothers, Phillip McKissick of Texas and Jeff Tackett of Shannon; her grandmother, Lavada Tackett of Shannon.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Lavelle McKissick, and Willie Tackett; her father, Billy Ray Tackett; and a nephew, Matthew Kyle Tackett.
Pallbearers will be Dustin and Barry Dulaney, Cory and Jerry Tackett, Gary Edington Jr. and Earnest "Red" Guthery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
