Phillip Starling

Centerville ? Phillip Ray Starling, 57, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013, at his residence. A Lee County native, he was born July 15, 1956, to Billy Joe and Bonnie Faye Gann Starling. A truck driver, he enjoyed singing and always carried a funny disposition. He loved his family and especially his two dogs, Rock and T-Bone. He attended a holyness church.

A celebration of life will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors with Rev. Castor Buse officiating. Burial will be in Center Star Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, DeLisa Price (Tim) of Mooreville; one son, Brian Starling (Pam) of Oxford; three grandchildren, Logan Bishop and Jace Price of Mooreville and Cohen Starling of Oxford; the mother of his children, Kathy Starling of Mooreville; two brothers, Danny Starling (Janice) of the Centerville Community and David Starling of the Carolina Community; his mother, Bonnie Faye Starling of the Carolina Community; a special friend and companion, Debbie Ritchey of the Centerville Community.

Preceded in death by his father; his grandparents, Herman and Inez Starling and Garvin and Effie Gann.

Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at the funeral home.
