MR. JUSTIN COLE PETTY

Guntown - Cole Petty, 18, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his residence. He was born March 18, 1994 in Amory to Gene and Gina Blankenship Petty. A student, he served as a volunteer fireman for Guntown, Birmingham Ridge, Cedar Hill and Baldwyn, Mississippi. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends as well as one very special niece and his dog ?Bear?. He loved his Lord dearly and was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church. He was a fierce protector with a gentle soul. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Wayne Frederick officiating and Rev. Martin Jacks assisting.
Burial will be in Camp Creek Cemetery. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors will be in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his parents, Gene and Gina Petty of Guntown; his grandparents, Vernon and Joann Petty of Carthage, Dorothy Hardin of Guntown, Hubert and Brenda Buchanan of Caldeonia; great-grandmother, Etoy Brackin of Caldeonia; one brother, Shane Petty of Guntown; one niece, Hollie Grace; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Sam Farrar, Wes Kloac, Bradlee Kilgo, Zack Phillips, Chad Rodgers, Hernando Diez Gomez, Landon Cooley and Michael Fondran

Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Brandon, Paul Stodard, Bill Beckman, Tommy Winfield, Tommy Farrar, Guntown Police Department, Guntown Fire Department, Cedar Hill Fire Department, Birmingham Ridge Fire Department and Baldwyn Fire Department.

Visitation will be 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the funeral home in Saltillo and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
