PENNY SEAL PORTER
Tavernier, Fla. - PENNY SEAL PORTER, 46, died Friday, February 2, 2007, at Mariners Hospital in Tavernier, Fla., after a sudden illness. She was born September 15, 1960 in Memphis, Tenn. She was a 1978 graduate of Tupelo High School and then attended the University of North Alabama, Mississippi State, and Memphis State. She grew up in Tupelo and had lived in Florida the past 12 years. Her family and friends will remember her as a happy and loving person.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Paul Brashier officiating. Claudia Hopkins will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Eddington Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Patsye Seal of Tupelo; a brother Jeff Seal and wife, Leanne, of Tupelo; and one sister Pam Seal of Grand Prairie, Tex.; two nieces, Keely and Kortney Seal; a special aunt, Betty McClellan of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Douglas Porter; and her step-father, John Edward Seal.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
