Peggy Joan Moran

PEGGY MORAN Tupelo - Peggy Joan Moran, 59, died Dec. 28, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center Patient Hospice. She retired after 40 years of working in the furniture industry. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandson. Her favorite T.V. show was Jeopardy. She loved her family. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues. The Rev. Dwayne Bailey will officiate. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements. Her survivors include her husband, Jim Moran, and one son, Thomas Moran, both of Tupelo; two brothers, Junior Nunley (Barbara) of Mantachie and David Nunley of Tishomingo; two sisters, Betty Walton (Mike) of Tishomingo and Dee Dee Grubbs of Ozark community; three granddaughters, Chelsea Smith, Amber Moran and Courtney Moran; and one great-grandson, Hunter Hester. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dexter and Ruth Nunley; a brother, Tom Nunley; a sister, Patricia Nunley; and a nephew, Matt Nunley. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
