Peggy Harris

November 16, 1954 — April 30, 2012

Tupelo - Peggy Lynn Harris, 57, died Monday, April 30, 2012, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a sudden illness. A Lee County native, she was born November 16, 1954, to Robert Lewis and Virginia Doris Petty Wester. She was a 1972 graduate of Tupelo High School and was a member of Bissell Baptist Church. She was an avid Ole Miss and New York Giants football fan. She loved spending time with her mother, attending auctions, watching Wheel of Fortune, interacting with children and her dog, Susie.



Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.



Survivors include her son, Robby Harris (Cassie) of Pontotoc; three grandchildren, Eli, Cooper and Milla Harris; her mother, Virginia Wester; her aunts, Joann Petty and Elizabeth Keith; her cousins, James Petty and Diane Dobbs, all of Tupelo.



She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wester on August 28, 2010.



Pallbearers will be Stephen Turner, James Petty and members of Bissell Baptist Church.
