PEGGY ANN DAUGHERTY
Tupelo - Peggy Ann Daugherty, 66, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A Tupelo native and life long resident, she was born November 15, 1939 to the late Samuel Madison and Ollie Velma May Daugherty. She was a member of Chesterville Calvary Baptist Church. She loved her church and her flowers.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Welsey Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.
Survivors include her three brothers, Gerald Daugherty and wife, Gerturde, Thomas Daugherty and wife,Elsie, Bobby Daugherty and wife, Linda, all of Tupelo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Marjorie D. Cox and Doris Daugherty.
Pallbearers will be Andy Simmons, Dwight Simmons, .
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 12 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to The Chesterville Calvary Baptist Church.
