PEANUT WARREN
Saltillo - ?Peanut? James C. Warren, 72, died Thursday, February 20, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born November 11, 1941 to Lawrence Alvis and Frances Warren. He attended Shannon High School. He loved mechanical and electrical work and worked at Leggett & Platt for over eighteen years in maintenance. He loved to meet his friends at his special coffee drinking place, fishing and his family.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2014 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Billy Wayne Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Shannon.
Survivors include his son, Justin Kyle of Saltillo; his sister, Betty Oswalt of Pleasant Grove Community in Shannon; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Alvis Warren; two sisters, Sara Kathleen Holcomb and Jean Osborne.
Pallbearers will be Michael Kyle, Joseph Howard, Bob Oswalt, Terry Shirley, Billy Parchman and Scott Cummings.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Saltillo Funeral Home..
