Pauline Raburn

Mooreville- Holland Pauline Raburn, 85, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, at The Meadows in Fulton. Born on January 13, 1940, to Rogie Holland Grimes and Ruple Pauline Hood Grimes, she was deeply loved by all who knew her. A devoted servant of the Lord, Pauline’s love for Christ and for others shone through her every action. She was a faithful and active member of the Fulton Church of God of Prophecy, where she found great purpose in her community. Pauline will always be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith.

In her lifetime, Pauline was a beloved wife, mother, and friend. She married Ray Raburn in December of 1973, and together they shared 51 wonderful years. Pauline worked in retail early in her career, including at WoolCo, and Woolworth; she later worked a number of years at Blue Bell, but after the birth of her son, she embraced her role as a full-time homemaker. Her love for animals, especially cats, was unmatched, and she found joy in singing, sewing, and doll collecting. Her talent as a seamstress and her passion for creating and sharing her collection of dolls brought her great happiness.

Pauline was survived by her husband of 51 years, Ray Raburn of Mooreville; son, Stephen Raburn and his wife, Cathie, of Mooreville; one granddaughter, Elyse Raburn; one brother, Jerry Grimes of Tupelo; four nephews, Danny Dwayne, Darren, and Darrel Grimes; and one niece, Cynthia Scott.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Elden Grimes.
