PAULINE DOUGLAS
Saltillo - Dona Pauline Douglas, 83, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017, at her home. She was born in Iuka on March 15, 1934, to Ella Mae Reynolds Martin. Pauline worked at McGraw and Eddison for a number of years and Air Cap MTD for 35 years in paint and assembly until her retirement in 2007. Her specialty was hand sewing quilts for her family. Pauline enjoyed collecting things and loved her grandbabies. She was a member of Oak Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Martha Stewart of Saltillo, Lisha Cox Woodard of Pearl and Janey Griffin of Saltillo; sister, Stella West of Adamsville, Tenn.; brother, Gene Watson of Pontotoc; grandchildren, Donna White, Shauna Parker (Vic), Jamie McCollum, Teri Bishop (Jamie); great-grandchildren, Richard, Stephanie, Summer and Matthew White, Clarissa, Catlyn and Channon Parker and Jocelyn, Jace and Jasper Bishop.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Trumon Douglas and sons, Jimmy, Tony, Larry and Barry Douglas.
Visitation will be from 2 until 8 pm Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Cory Collins officiating. Graveside services will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Stewart, Jamie Bishop, Coty Payne, Austin Harris, Robert "Berto" Ferkich and Jeff Owens.
