Guntown - PATSY GAIL TOWERY, 64, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at The North Mississippi Medical Center due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A Saltillo/Guntown native and lifelong resident, she was born April 30, 1943 to Elizabeth Henderson Towery and the late William Deach Towery. She enjoyed playing with her special toys and dolls, especially her stuffed animals. She particularly loved her doll she named, Amber. She was the shining light of her family and touched many lives with her special love. She will be truly missed. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Saltillo.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Dr. Ken Anderson and Dr. Juston Gates, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Elizabeth Towery of Guntown; two sisters, Peggy Towery of Nashville, Tenn. and Polly Phillips of Guntown; a sister-in-law, Beth Towery of Nashville, Tenn.; two special nieces, Melanie Adams and Michelle Towery, both of Nashville, Tenn.; two special nephews, Jamie Goodin and Michael Towery; serveral other nieces and nephews..
She was preceded in death by her father, William Deach Towery and a brother, Paul Towery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Mears, Tony Mears, Kevin Jaggers, James Goodin, Michael Towery, and Kelton Adams.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity of the donor's choice.
