PATSY ROBERSON Nettleton - Patsy Jean Cook Roberson, 62, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Golden Living Nursing & Hospice Center in Batesville, after an extended illness. A Clarksdale native, she was born March 24, 1950 to Guy Mack and Louise Oglesby Cook. She had worked in the medical field as a nurse's aide. She loved her family and grandchildren. She was a member of First United Pentecostal of Tupelo. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Adam Miller officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Strickland (Ritchie) of Nettleton; one son, Rickey Roberson (Michelle) of Saltillo; two sisters, Barbara Hardin of Batesville and Donna Roberson of Nettleton; two brothers, George Cook of Clarksdale and Rickey Cook of Nettleton; three grandchildren, Jadon Strickland of Nettleton, Clare Roberson of Saltillo and Guy Mack Roberson of Saltillo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gordon Roberson on December 7, 2003; two sisters, Betty Jo Wablonski and Virginia Davis. Pallbearers will be Jadon Strickland, Rickey Cook, Jimmy Hardin "Trip" III, Tyler Hardin, Ritchie Strickland and Chris Roberson.
