Tupelo - PATRICK ALAN MORSE, 57, died Thursday, January 17, 2008, at his residence after a brief illness. A Sacramento, California native, he was born March 17, 1950 to Bebe Weber Morse and the late Benjamin Wilson. He was a graduate of Longwood University in Farmville, VA. He was a US Army veteran having served in Vietnam. He was in the cable industry for over 20 years and most recently worked as a Sweep Supervisor with Cableworks Inc. of Dallas, Tex. Acting was his hobby and he had worked as Richard Gere's stand-in double in the movie, "Sommersby."
A private family memorial service will be held Saturday at his home. W E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Morse of Martinsburg, WV and Katie Jones and husband, Keishan, of Charlotte Court House, VA; one son, Michael Morse of Raleigh, NC; his mother, Bebe Weber Morse of Tupelo; two grandchildren, Harmony and Autumn Jones; his fiancee, Patti Parker of Tupelo and her two children, Lauren and Michelle Parker and grandaughter, Rachel; his brother, Ronald Morse of Phoenix, AZ
He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Wilson Morse.
